The human mind is a fascinating machine. Yet, how is it so underestimated? When I say this, I refer to the inability of most individuals to see the magnitude of the brain's influence on their perceived reality. If people walked around and their heads looked like TV screens, we would be able to see the individual story line that interprets interactions, emotions and so on. We would be able to understand just how much influence those perceptions have on experiences.
The power of the brain has been analyzed for centuries and no one has been able to grasp the mysterious organ in its entirety. People have dissected and even ingested it in attempts to understand the energy that is encompassed. This sacred vessel of consciousness powers everything that we know and dictates our life and even death.
Even beyond our physical bodies, the brain has a role in the ability to explore higher consciousness or spiritual realms. Without the intricate workings of this system, it would be impossible to enter other dimensions through elevated states or "pass on" into another state of being at the end of life. Regardless of religious beliefs, the brain can create access to an infinite source that's existence has been chased since the beginning of time.
This connection with a higher plane of consciousness or spiritual source is an experience that is activated by the brain. Many factors allow for this to take place within the body that use the human biosphere as a tool. A well oiled machine indeed- almost to a degree of mystifying those who dive into it's possibilities. Meditation is a common technique to utilize this understanding. Once the brain is fired up for this type of state, it disconnects the individual with this perceived reality into an infinite state or divine connection.
This understanding leads one on an interesting path. If our minds and thoughts create our reality, what could we do with our mindfulness of this notion? I will leave you with two exercises that I found helpful when first enhancing my ability to access brain capability and bending of my reality so to speak. Test it up!
1. VISUALIZE SOMETHING SMALL:
So the idea of "if you believe something to be true then you can create it to be so" is the concept that is utilized in the exercise. Start with something simple like a parking space. Imagine when you get to your destination that the spot will be waiting for you in an ideal location. Visualize it empty and available to you. The trick is to believe that it will be as such when you arrive. Start to the practice this visualization often and record the results! Please share your experiences!
2. OPEN YOURSELF UP TO THE POSSIBLITIES:
Call into your daily life a higher existence and open yourself up to the possibilities that await you in your experience of yourself and life. It helps to even say it out loud because of the power of words and thought processes. While driving seems to work well for me personally.
Once you call upon the divine no matter what your personal belief- the mind, heart and spirit will align and has a way of speaking back. You just have to decide in your mind that it is the time to experience your own power.
